Convention on Copper Industry: Vision 2030 & 2047

The Indian Primary Copper Producers Association (IPCPA), in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), successfully conducted the Convention on Copper Industry: Vision 2030 & 2047 on 2nd June 2022. This prestigious event brought together industry experts, government representatives, and stakeholders from the entire copper value chain to discuss and address the challenges and opportunities facing India's copper industry. Distinguished speakers included representatives from prominent governmental bodies such as NITI Aayog, the Ministry of Mines, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Finance. Their presence and valuable insights added immense value to the convention, enriching the discussions and shaping the future of the copper industry in India. During the convention, participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions on crucial topics, including raw material supply instability, rising imports, industry diversification, and the establishment of a circular economy. Industry representatives voiced their recommendations on measures to promote holistic growth in India's copper industry. The Convention on Copper Industry: Vision 2030 & 2047 provided a unique platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among industry leaders, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. Participants gained valuable insights into strategies for promoting indigenous copper manufacturing, implementing sustainable practices, and positioning India as a leading player in the global copper market.
